ok, first of all, if you really want to be sure, do the same thing with a sine wave, not a saw.

On another note, visit a doc and have your ears checked, it may be that the left is just clogged up, they clean it out with water or peroxide. Try that before you give up on your ear !!!

Also, if your ear starts hurting, use earplugs dude. Or you might lose your hearing altogether ! (pain threshold)

Last time I checked I could hear 19khz, (very faint but it was there... lucky me!)          Upavas - Here And Now (Sangoma Rec.) new EP out Oct.29th, get it here:

thanks guys

i got an accident, when i was about 15 y.o. ... a soccer-goal-rod hit me at my ear...

what i wonder about... i read, that only the deep frequencies demages the ears, but i feel that high freqs are the "pain". what you think about it?

thats also the reason why my right ear (the one, that can hear the high freqs) hurts before the damaged ear hurts.

nice test elad!

well i can hear all frequencies on both sides.. but i have a loudness dip in the 16 to 19 khz region.. due to music listening i guess.. i have to turn volume up for those frequnecies to hear them.
but funny enough 20-22 khz are very loud and clear to me?! maybe it´s an artefact of the cheap headphones i use for the test?

oh and since maybe 5 years i have soft tinnitus which made my ears sensitive regarding HIGH frequencies -> i HAVE to wear earplugs on a party now or i go mental!

use earplugs BEFORE you get there!

i can hear better on my right ear though as i used to mix while dj´ing on my left ear in the no earplugs days

age 31 and i did massive clubbing and dj´ing!!

take into acount the equal loudness contours and the fact that no 2 things in nature are equal, the way i look at it, everyone ears differ from the other slightly, experiment with diferent volumes, mix positions until u find the best for u           [[[G|L|I|T|C|H]]]
