hello ive become increasingly bored with traditional psytrance structures and production techniques. Ive been listening to a lot of other genres of electronica (again) , specially techno .. i however sometimes find traditional techno kinda dull, but some of the newer stuff is really psychedelic. so i ve been giving it a shot with cubase and vsts. is anyone in the same path and would like to share some info on the process of noving from traditional psystructures to ambiguous techno??
one thing i find useful is to not use heavy quantize, but enter notes manually or introduce some heavy shuffle

@the Daleks: hey man wassuuupp? yeah i had to stop for a while but now im back hehe.. i loved ur track . the sounds and break are awesome , the second bassline is great, can u explain how u did it, u know the dirty one bass right after the break?
In my forthcoming album - PUPPETS (Out on 3rd Sep 2010) there is a track called: In Love With A Droid
This is somewhat close to psychedelic techno which starts off with minimal yet groovy percs and gradually moves to some aggressive synth layering to finish off the tune.....
