lots of free on kvraudio.com .Voxengo has sth decent ,I think it's Gliss (for free on their side)but than an interesting question would be what is a bad eq? Even an intern eq in your sequencer should do the job.
If you in cubase up from cubase 4 they are great imo for the most essential tasks.
For more complex with more areas to manipulate go for kvr side for free eq's or check gliss. |

as for Nyquist I must say this one is really speshaal I use mostly the cubase eq and the mighty Oxford,Nyquist is fun & great too. |
