yes, i do.
this is very interesting : it's very cheaper for the same quality (or better)!

bnut you gotta be good at it or your cables won`t be very good.

I'v learned to make cables at school. You need to learn soldering. There are lot of articles on the net you can search. It's good to make your own cables if you need specific lengths o to repair broken cables.

I would never recommend to anyone to make own cables, except if that's what u r learned to do so, cose out there is professionals who spend years to research and develop the best transparent quality is possible and all this effort deserved your spending money! it is very very important especially if we r talking about digital cables, which is need real precise production...i personally recommend to all http://www.sommercable.com/ find the dealer near you and you never will look back, they do all u ever need in any setups and the quality of this cables r TOP!

witch,
you basicly buy the cables and only solder the connectors. You are not actually weaving the cable by yourself... At least that was the subject I think

well, digital cables are not realy cables if you get what i`m saying. surley i wouldn`t try making or fixing my own spdif cable......
now back to the subject at hand . the soldering of the connectors is actually what matters most when concidering quality of a cable. of coursr the cable itself and the quality of the connectors is cruicial but the soldering itself makes a huge difference. and yes you have to be good at it or you just get shitty cables .
