Anyone experienced with NOrd Lead 2?

HI there,
My partner in crime and I are testing out a Nord Lead 2 keyboard for the next month with a mind to purchasing one. We're wondering if anyone around here might know of boards/forums/email-lists devoted to this machine (especially as regards the production of psy-trance). Perhaps someone on here has had some experience with one?

I'm trying to create really ripping nasty bassy synth leads (like Wizzy Noise style, or in Ninja's 'VOrtex Tunnel'). The synth doesn't seem to be getting there on its own. Have you attempted this with the Nord? Do you know what types of effects need to be applied to the sound? Or am I not using the filters the right way? Advice? |

I own a NordLead2... it has very powerfull lead sounds.
you can use a 4 Voice in one lead which creates phat sounds and with FM and LFO's and Sync you can create many Brain blowing sounds :)
Virus is a bit more softer imo in this area.
If you like Virtual Analog, try getting the Q - it's got what it takes also. |
