i don't have one but have been looking at it. how do you like the sound of it? is it easy to program good sounds out of it? |

it's pretty much the same synth soundwise as the nord lead 3, which has excellent filters and oscillators. you pretty much can get ANY psy sound you've ever dreamed of, not the goa sounds, goa needs analog filter, but at least the ole psy sounds. right now my setup is: nord modular g2, juno60 and a yamaha cs40m, i believe i can get any goa/psy sound with these 3, not that expensive setup, and works nice...
on programmability, the programming from pc screen is real easy and the interface is really intuitive, BUT you really should know a lot about synthesis to get this. I even ahve trouble with it, and i've had a lot of experience with synths... |

go to www.code404.com and sign up for the NM mailing list.,
there are some very good programmers around there and a lot of patches are shared!.,.,
i have the old modular so we cannot share patches unfortunately.,., but you should find enough on the nord modular mailing list/archive ., 
also, you can ask about everything (synhesis/ modular related) on that list.,., some ppl are realy realy experienced.,
some ppl will not only awnser your question but post a long tutorial about the topic.,
i learned a lot of very cool tricks from this list.,.,
there are even some very good tutorials about certain aspects of synthesis and nord modular.,
i think at the moment this is the best nord modular community on the planet.,
so if you want to share patches and listen to other ppls patches you should realy sign up.,
.,.,., and before you know it you'll be hooked to stroopwafels and noodles!!.,
