Hi mates, i use Logic Audio for PC
my system is:
Pentium III 866Mhz
128MB RAM 40GB HD
M-Audio Quattro USB Board
Phonic Monitors
I'd like to know, if RAM memory directly interferes to get more performance on playing audio instruments and audio tracks simultanealy , even bounced , more than 5 tracks is providing board overload... =/
If i put 1GB of ram , would it less overload and low latency?(know all about clip)
Thanx a lot! Inspirations for all mates of isratrance.com

And i think buying ram for this machine is waste of money, coz i think this mobo doesn't support new ram models.
So if you buy now ram for this old mobo u have buy again new if u get new system.
Better save the money get new mobo, ram, cpu and maybe new harddisc.
U can build a good machine for about 350 euros if you already have graficcard and tower and powersupplier.

hmm., this propably will be more.,
you gonna need a new power suply as well., (for intel cpu's , not sure about amd) .,
and a good mobo + cpu + memory (at least 512) will already be more than 350.,
but it's a good idea to upgrade anyway.,
greets.,

Fullon buddy,
if you decide to upgrade...
i recommand you to check out the amd 64bit series,
read some info on amd forums and pick whats the
best comb. for your budget.
...
and don't comprimize on the RAM.
good RAM is very expensive, its very important for
your smooth work and performance.
also a good cooler for the cpu.
lower temperature = better stability.
if you have any questions about this issue,
feel free to msg private
