in past we have used buzz. but now we are in fl studio. the workflow is faster for us and its more stable with vst.
i know that many ebm-darkwave acts use orion.
so i think its your turn to try out whats your favorite hostprogram.
i mean that not the host is making the "hit" its the user and his skills in producing and telling storys in his music.

buzz is totally awesome. specially if you're into glitch and beaty stuff. I suggest looking into peer machines. Btdsys released some bindblowing machines like peerchord, peerctrl and samplegrid that opens up possibilities I miss in sequencers like cubase, live or anything else I've tried. on www.buzzmachines.com or www.buzzchurch.com you can find lots of stuff going on.
also check aldrin, it's a project to port buzz over to linux.
For ppl creating idm, breakbeat, d'n'b I really suggest looking into it... it's cool for almost anything you throw at it, as it allows to create your own workflow. It's stable as hell as soon as you drop all the buggy plugins and just use what you need. Vst support is nice too, as you can bind every controller on the fly.
