There will be some good DnB, east coast techno, house and trance there, but not much psy. I'm pretty sure I'm going. |

if you like this kind of music IMO its a very good deal for $35
or maybe i'm just used to seeing overpriced psy-parties

i think sometimes psy parties have to charge more because they don't bring in as many heads. raves like this, you can expect thousands of people.

Yeah I'd like to see Ed Rush & Optical, Michael Myers and the other Philly trance guys, and then of course there is Infected Mushroom. Now I've been reading a lot of negative threads on this msg board about the direction their craft has gone, whether that's just the opinion of jaded israeli fans or the overriding sentiment i just don't know. but, i gotta say i love their earlier shit (classical, bp...) and not so much their recent shit. Thoughts?

I hope to see some philly trance heads in attendance at Bang, that's usually the case with Whistle and this time there will be some actual trance there. It will be a good party, local 13 knows how to throw down. |

i'm definitely looking to go with a couple of friends.... i can't get up to NYC too often and to have a decent psytrance act like IM come to within 10 mins of my house is sort of exciting.... i've heard from some friends that philly's progressive scene isn't bad at all, but i've kind of focused a little more on strictly psy and tripped out, (i.e hallucinogen, younger brother, yahel) to actually make attempts at seeing live... being as i'm not deep in the club scene, i'm curious to see how this goes down, see how it looks for the phuture of philadelphia....
oh and prajna, i too prefer older, (classical, gathering, and some bp for me) wouldn't mind a few "other side" tracks thrown in, either
