the combinator itself doesn't have any new sound sources, it just make it easier to connect few devices and control then as one big device. this might save some time when you try to create new sounds or in a live preformence.

the modulation matrix just makes it easier to control several devices at once, it's nothing that you couldn't do before. if you have external midi controler you can use it in combination with the device programmer to get nice modulations. |
