The gear in the picture Look like some kind of groovebox to me.

yes might be too many jacks for groovebox ,, but it seems like he is tweaking it like it some kind of module!!!!
maybe it's Groovebox with extentions out

It's a digital mixer, similar model to the 01V but not sure exactly which. Maybe an expanded 01V. |

i think thats a yamaha 03d which is a step down from the 01v mixer.
