gaian mind -- most awesome festival! woo! that's a really great webpage by the way hahah hopefully more than one truly dark international act this year please! but our local acts are still great! love you guys

More than one dark international act? Why? It costs a lot of money to bring international acts. Why not spend it bringing big acts from other styles/genres too?

I personally liked Deep Fryer's idea of a suomi stage...

because a lot of people like dark psy and there is absolutely not enough of it on the east coast, and to a certain degree it is underrepresented at Gaian Mind.
I would love to see more dark acts on the line up as well, not "big acts from other genres".
A suomi stage would be sweet though!!

hMmm yes I concur. Psykovsky would represent the "dark" side of this psychedelic trance genre very nicely while bringing in a larger crowd .

I mean there's usually like 5-7 international acts and full on and progressive are very much represented, so just saying maybe 2/2/2 dark/fullon/prog could be represented? either way this festy is still fun

????

Do you mean you didn't like his music? Or just the time slot???

Tony is such a good dj, even if you aren't into that style you have to recognize how much thought goes into his musc. But morning is probably the right time for him at a festival.

I personally liked the fact that gaian mind's headliners werent all dark which is often the case in the midwest. there was plenty of dark representation at gmsf last year with freedom tearing it up and lauryn conjuring thunderbolts and lightning to split the trees..

but I understand wanting a dark headliner. course the rastaliens arent exactly what I'd call fluffy fullon so I would say that it was plenty edgy.. still a split between dark/full on/prog/suomi would be sweeeeeet.

I wanna hear that funk!

cant wait to see where the new location is and mark my calendar for it!
