Hi, do you guys know of such a vst that can reproduce the sound of a trumpet or a saxophone
There should be something outthere (sample based probably)

theres an old VST called edirol orchestral.
i think for trumpet its better to use samples load into vst samplers like halion or kontakt.

True .. Good advice !
Then (For an fortify) go to the Edirol 'Super Quartet' (Different Vst of the Edirol family , Usualy coming in the same pack) It will give u (To the sound) Lots of spatial and zonal (What y play in there will sound more fresh , alive , Here and far) .
Try the Korg family , This is series of an mazing virtual piano's & tools for any mello sound .
And maybe the old's FM7 or the Pro-53 Vst's will help y here and there .
But i can give y a funerals and an church piano's sounds Go to B4 Vst and god help us all ! Amen .

nothing to do with trumpets, but judging by the question you may be interested in Antares String Studio VSTi... |

Thx all I'll try some of that stuff on the weekend and see what i like best.
And yes as Orange said i'm verry happy with my terratec , don't have a real trumpet n e way but surely i wouldn't buy a new soundcard just to record it!
cheers!
