i use it for dumping ideas because it's so fast and aceessible to do something in orion (you take 5 seconds to open the program, then a synth and then the piano roll... it's 3 clicks for this). other than that, to make full trakcs, i think it's too limited and not worth.

A lot of artists in SF used to use Orion. Myself included, Ocelot, Quasar, Dylalien, Meta (formerly known as Aeon)
It is indeed very easy to get things going quick and easy and the X delay still is one of my favorites. I actually just recently reinstalled it on my machine to use it for some things. As to whether one soft is better.... Stop beating the dead horse, it's already been made into glue and you ate it in kindergarden....
It's not about the tools it's about whether the user can get the tool to do what they want it to.
