hi everybody, who owns a novation nova or any other synth with 'encoder knobs' (rotary encoders)? (i call the knobs which 'click', or 'snap', when turning 'encoder knobs', they 'snap' about 24-36 times on a full turn)
i have the problem that these knobs seem to be 'worn out' when turning, during heavy use over the years, they don't react that good anymore.
who has the same problem with own synths? how did you solve it? just live with it or gave it to some repair service?
all the best |

hi,
i own a novation nova and gladly never had that problem (my waldorf mw2 is the one with shitty encoder).
Check this http://faq.waldorfian.info/
it's the faq for waldorf synths but they recommend there two repair shops. One the Usa and the other in Europe.
The european one should fix your nova too. i think.
hope i'm of any help,
joao
