well mate , basically i think ......
if u are going to build a studio full of hardware ... quality will be better than software studio ......
but more ofthen than hardware or software it is the knowledge and experience of the USER tht makes the difference ....
many ppl these days making good sounding trks on fully software based systems .....
so see wat suits best for u ....
and i think it is only a matter of some time now .... b4 all the differences in hardware and software disappear !
plur ... boom ! |

same opinion.. with the right tweaking no need for a digital synth..soft getting better anyday and in few years synths will die a slow death.. its too big.. waste of money.. but heh ye guess its nice to "show" around with.. most developpers are/will focus more and more on plug ins imo..
all you really need is a good set of monitors..headphones and a well working pc.. and a midikeyboardcontroller if u really want/think to need to have something in your hands to play with...
ill push u over the edge, and will be smiling when u cant take anymore, at that point ill push a little harder till u experience true psychdelica |

I'll third Dimitri.
Forget the mixer. Especialy if it is Behringer. And try and get the MPS5 instead of 3 if you can afford them and won't have problems with the neighbours because of too much bass.
