Hi,
Only recently got into the scene, but totally lovin' it! I'm based around Portsmouth (Hard house city, not my cuppa T) and so on the lookout for local parties, etc. Any recommendations very welcome.

Thanks for the replies.
Deltawave have a party this Saturday - I think I'll pop down to check it out.
As for Brighton, I'm over there next Thursday for the Eat Static gig, so I'll grab some flyers. Is there anything I should look out for?

there´s a dance record shop near the lanes that might have some info & ahhh yes the guarana shop in the lanes should have flyers,info etc., how about chaos unlimited records(look up internet site)¿?,any info on brighton parties would be much appreciated cos i´m moving there soon xx;O> |

I've just got a batch of CDs in fromt he good guys at http://www.chaosunlimited.co.uk - great service.
For the more obscure stuff I'm using http://www.saikosounds.com - 3 day delivery, not bad from the other side of the world.
Thanks for the pointer to the record shop near the lanes, it's always nice to have a browse ;-)
Will report back on Brighton parties, although the chaps at Chaos have sent me a flyer to Symbiosis, March 13th, Mayfair Club / Renaissance Rooms, Mile St, off Wandesworth Road - www.symbiosisnet.com for more info.

hi , Brighton is KIller ,, the partys here are wicked!!!
i work in the illegal records shop (about 2 or 3 down from the gurana bar in the N. lanes)
its BELOW the clothes shop SOLAR...
peeps arnt inuntill bout 12 ish (brighton hippies for ya) but you'l be greeted with a friendly smile and loads of info on whats going on and where to go to..
as for simbiosis ... well there last 2 partys ( there only 2 ) have Rocked harder than anything for a long time ~~
and im playing in the proggesive rom!!!

Niquid - we popped in to see the guys at Illegal on Friday, but no-one turned up (1:30pm & 4:30pm). I understand that they played as support for Eat Static, if they did then **Big Respect**, the room was jumping! Will pop in next time I'm in Brighton. I did hear that the "Psychedelic Cookie" was a Psy party to check out, but I couldn't find any details in the Lanes.
Michael - I'd be interested to hear a demo if you've got one. When we saw Eat Static, they had an ambient DJ in the bar, which doubled as a chillout area. So get in touch with the Concorde2, or the promoter concerned with the Eat Static gig. Also, we're trying to put on something similar in Portsmouth & we haven't sorted an ambient DJ yet.

Enlightenment and Party Possible are 2 organisations that put on free parties down Brighton area in the summer, ask Mick Chaos at chaosunlimited.co.uk for more info.
I´m in Portugal organising a free party for the Beltane weekend with trance from uk, portugal & germany. Great chance for a warm break. |
