I am visiting tampere in november.Are there any nice places to go and listn to music and dance or are there going to be any parties?Are the people of finland generally into psy music?  |

Finns in general are surely not into psy music heh. Neither are the samoans or the northpolers! Only people from Psyburbistan could be classified like that. But don´t worry, that`s ok. Here`s also been an active scene for 15 years now. So welcome. There is parties often in Helsinki, the capital, and sometimes in Tampere (175km from Hki) too.
Smaller parties, bigger parties. Local psyshit, international psyshit. U choose. Don´t drink too much even though we locals might! And make sure you have some kind of tolerance with strong buds if u consume such.

I remember an old friend who used to hang here, his name is Tal (Auspexx) and he moved to Tampere from Israel a few years ago. Do not know if he is involved in the electronic music movement anymore thou. Perhaps try to catch him at com.pact website?

I think Tal is not much in scene anymore.....
use those links that eraser gave and u can maybe find something, i think tampere is second biggest psy city in finland right after helsinki maybe jyväskylä could be third
