...somewhat alarmed at how PHAT the stock instruments on the EXS sound?
after using my go-to sylenth and albino for a good long while to get some nasty fm sounds for a zenon-style prog tune, i went browsing through the stock EXS instruments to assure myself that my hours of tweaking were really necessary.......
FAT. EFFING. SOUNDS. the sampled jp8 synths?
FAT.
the pads???
SO FAT.
the strings???
guess.
anybody here USE these gems ALL THE TIME?
p.s. the chinese zither EXS is so well done, with a good dose of bitchbend and some velocity tweaking, it sounds - dare i say - real. |
