Apparently not, The light AKA Sukaba has taken over.
Good news if you ask me...I'm loving it.

well.no one has mentioned it .so i will,on abakus myspace page,in his one and only blog entry ,he tells us that the abakus album no 2 is just about completed, this comment from him is dated may 9,so hopefully we are even further down the road with it, `that much closer... was that close to the perfect album for me ,i frikin loved it, i hope this new one delivers, i suspect it will, he has certainly taken his time 4 years,mmm well a blink of any eye really i suppose in the grand sceme of things, i wonder what label it `l be out on, and i hope japan doesnae get xtra traks that us poor plebs dont.
anyways one more reason to go on living |

We can we expect an album release? I really enjoy the sound. Has an 80's nostalgia that is fun and, well, light.  I wiretapped the streaming tracks from liespace and created an album of my own for now.

I must admit, that at first I was lil bit "shocked" by the sound of THE LIGHT, coz it´s so much different from what I expected.
But now, after a 2nd try, I think, that it`s really killa. Well produced light easy going music, also with a lil bit of a funny aspect for my ears.
Anyways I should make a mix out of this, Ulrich Schnauss, Robert Miles, Depeche Mode and Co. ... I feel inspirated ... |

The first new music in almost 3 years, ABAKUS - "UNDER THE STARS" is out AUGUST 4TH.
It's a 4-track EP available at Juno Records, Itunes, Amazon and most other stores.
