I highly recommend Psilocybian's one: http://music-production-videos.com/psytrance-tutorial it's all in Ableton, but the techniques are very transferable. No nonsense stuff.           www.facebook.com/chemogen

I went to a proper university in the UK and got a BSc in audio tech... which meant 3 years of full on analog/digital electronics, maths, physics, acoustics and studio time.
I learned DAWs and synth programming on my spare time.

Shortcut to the learning software bit and synth programming is the http://www.soundfarm-studios-ibiza.com/

It all depends on what you want to do and how much money you are willing to spend.

I know of people that make great music and never took any production course. They just taught them selves.

Peace out.

im doing a 2 year HND course, and agree with nectarios in that you will learn about a much more diverse range of subjects compared to something focused on programming (Sonic Academy,Soundfarm etc)

so instead of learning to make patches/arrangements it might be something like - Audio Electronics, Live Sound Systems, Music Theory & History, Studio Recording etc

depends what you want to learn:)
