Hello

Can anyone advise of any good guides for mixing psy?, mainly using ableton live.

any do's and don'ts?

bought some good tracks yesterday and cannot wait to get mixing.

yep these are very high energy tracks anyway.

will have a play tonight and see what i can do.

had a damn good mix going last night, until the computer decided to gib out, was after midnight so i gave up at that point.

yup cdj s and the pioneer 1000 s work great too.. some how i never trusted lap tops or any thing else other than cd machines or turntables..           www.soundcloud.com/pavaka

If you gonna pre mix in Ableton (like the guys doing LiVE shows) ...its pretty easy.

Import all teh tracks as Wav files.

One in channel.....easier like this.

Then use the warp function to get the BPM the same as the master BPM.

Then all you need to do is ZOOOM in.....overlap the tracks...like you would a REAL mix....

Once that is done, you add a 3way EQ on each channel.....and automate the EQ for during the mix.

Pretty easy stuff.
