is the end game to make sounds appear more wide in the stereo field? If so why not simply use 2 individual mono channels for 1 stereo track and use their pan controls to control the width. Most natural way of spreading out a signal IMO. Never really found a stereo spreader plug that did not have what i perceive as a negative impact on the sound.           Mastering available here:

If you are using the method monno is talking about you could slightly mismatch the 2 channels by timing. 2-5ms should do the trick and/or eq/wet them differently. That should do the trick.

something i m wondering what is the easiest way to get a stereo track on 2 mono tracks in logic, spliting left and right and getting them on 2 mono tracks. for now i use a bus but if i want to do that on most sounds it gonna be a big mess in the projects.

Air stereo enhancer, use it very sparingly...           Upavas - Here And Now (Sangoma Rec.) new EP out Oct.29th, get it here:

if mixing than its true that doubling mono signal with delaying one of channels will do good.
but if you are on mastering stage you have no access to individual tracks. there you might need a good stereo enhancer (though i never use them, i think there are better options for stereo enhancement.)
cutting the theoretical shit, what you need is this

Easiest way in logic is to insert the stereo track on 2 independent mono channels and take it from there.
With regards to delaying one side i´d like to add that using a musical increment for the delay instead of milliseconds (1/4, 1/8 notes etc.) yields some very interesting panorama fun if done proper.

imho you just need stereo enhancers when you really stressed out the actual stereo field already and just need to have a little more space for a specific sound, always remember mono compatibility...get on good panorama settings first, usually its enough.

stereo and bas enhancers might do a great job if used proper but you can easily destroy the whole mix with it...
