Any events happening in Mid August here in the US??

Hey all... I am planning my vacation for the week of August 16th and I was wondering if there were going to be any events happening OUTSIDE of California around that time. I have developed a strong itch to check out the rest of the US scene and I am dying to play somewhere else than Cali. (Nothing against California, but if I am going to take a vacation from work, I would like to go somewhere that I haven't been yet) If anyone knows of a good event taking place around that weekend that might have a open slot, can ya let me know?? Sorry about the shameless self promotion, but I wanted to get a jump start on my vacation planning and start saving my $ for the plane ticket...
