Berklee School of Music here in Boston has a 'music synthesis' program. its not trance oriented, that i'm aware of, but it focuses on teaching students how to make electronic music

try www.recordingcareer.com or www.mi.edu

They both have courses in studio based pro audio recording. The first, LA recoriding workshop is about 12k for the whole course, about 9 months long.           assumption is the mother of all fuckups.

I took the desktop music production course at Berklee Music. It's pretty good, it'll teach you the basics for Reason and Logic. I would also recommend taking the Sound Design for the Electronic Musician... It'll teach you how to make some of your own sounds using the native synths in both reason and Logic and deter you from "preset hunting"           An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

It was $695 for the course, and $30 for the book, and I think an extra $100 for the materials and junk.. Closer to $850           An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

I teach orion and granular synthesis at school of the arts high school here, but you are probably too old though. it is fun, I am pretty sure we are the only psy trance writing class in public school in the world. So, not all tax dollars are used for silly things
