hello..recently i found in internet antivirus for mac(Kapersky etc)..how many of you use antivirus at your mac?i thought that macs doesnt need an antivirus..... |

yu can find an antivirus for mac but he won'T find any virus as far as I know and heard.
I myself have own mac since yesterday,but I was told about this by many.

i don t use one, it s years i don t use any on my pc i m not gonna starting using one a mac hehe, can tell much if one is needed,it depends what sort of site you visit i guess but mac are suposed to not have any virus as far as i know. |

Your mac will never be harmed from virus 
Ive had mac for the past 5 years and i totally forgot what an antivirus is for...mouxaxaxaxa !!!

i thought the same... and i didnt bother getting an antivirus until recently....
I moved in with a fren and i let him use my mac.. dunno what sorta sites he visited but ableton started crashing and i lost all my files... and i didnt have a backup....
later i got an antivirus for 30 day trial and found out 2 trojans in my mac...
a huge lesson learned..

If you got cracked software on your mac, maybe even with pc key generator this will be recognized as trojan.
You don`t need an anti virus prog on a mac yet. but make sure you activate your firewall and maybe little snitch. if your really paranoid on using the web, get an opend vpn client and buy privacy connection to always hide your ip and stuff..if your privacy is worth something for you.

thx for the advice zork... yea i got some cracked stuff on my mac and maybe tht is the reason. I somehow had a feeling they were messing my mac...
