Continuing a chain of genre-busting releases, Hadshot Haheizar is proud to present the debut 12” from the freshest talent on their roster - the promising Antichic vs. Popped! Antichic vs. Popped! is the Munich-based duo of A.J. and DJ Niko, who have already turned heads with the initial appearance of their dirty electro-house tinged track “Punked” on Hadshot’s recent Floor Filler – Dirty compilation. A.J. is no stranger to Hadshot, having previously collaborated with label boss Yaniv Tal on the Universal Sound Squad project.
Taking on remix duties is the legendary techno/acid production duo of Jürgen Driessen and Plank, otherwise known as Acrid Abeyance. In the last 10+ years, Jürgen and Plank have left their mark on the dance music scene with literally countless releases together as well as under their numerous solo & side-projects. With over 10 booming releases together, this pair is no stranger to creating dancefloor magic. Jürgen has also been responsible for several hit singles over the years, including the chart topping anthem “La” with Marc et Claude, the acclaimed “Rheinkraft” and “Timeloop” with Oliver Klein, and the timeless triumph “Epidemic” as Exit EEE, as well as many others. Additionally, Jürgen has released several successful singles and remixes under his own name with such labels as Mutekki, Electribe, Maelstrom, Hook Recordings, Hooj, and Alphabet City.
“White Lines” is an acid-thick dirty house-flavored groover which is sure to drive the club into a wild frenzy. With a sleazy vocal hook accentuating the overdriven bass and classic acid line, not a single butt will fail to catch the groove. Undoubtedly sure to be a wintertime club hit, “White Lines” will add a kick of fuel to the dancefloor when you need to throw it to full-throttle.
“White Lines (Acrid Abeyance Remix)” tones down the acidic intensity to a sexy riff, then throws a bit of low-end funk into the mix. The tekky chugging feel is ideal for the deeper late-night dancefloor, with its bouncing bassline and funked-out vocal to keep the bodies moving. This remix shows that Acrid Abeyance are still on top of the game for creating top-quality acid grooves to more the floor.
