I know about metering, corelleation meters etc
I dont know about how it sounds on big open airs and such though.
Stereo issues are primarly important for tv.. it must be absolutely without anti phase. For clubs with mono for sure too

.. still.. I think it will *sound* better on all systems and at home - not that this is a major problem (if it is not for tv) just that it sounds better, if the lower spectrum is without anti phase just tight in mono , Im not sure though, anyways thanks

it can work great with stereo basses but usualy they tend to 'swim' in the spectrum.When wanting a tight bottom end it's better to have it tight in mono. Any additive signal interference that goes that low and is not in mono makes it unclearer.
