THE ROLLNG THUNDER
The Collective Art Conscious Festival in Futatsugame SADO

Summer of last year, the field art festival THE ROLLING THUNDER was held for the first time on Saod island in the midst of a 10 year squall. While being wrapped in the light of lightning and laser beams, we shared and enjoyed the feeling of miracles. This very year, while on the beach where the fair weather is beautiful, and, praying for a different miracle to share, we celebrate at that same place. Futatsugame, where the festival will be at, is at the northmost edge of Sado island, and is designated by the Environmental Agency of Japan as one of "the seawater bathhouse 55 selections of Japan". Indeed, the beach spreads under the eye, and the sea and sky diverge into unexplored regions beyond the mind's eye. Here, also, one can see the sunrise and sunset up from and into the sea. It is truly a miraculous location. Grandness large at the home of the ibis where nature remains, music and the space, the curvature of time, the rotation of the earth, outer space, peace and harmony with the continuum can all be felt at this campsite at the side of a luxurious sea. And, at the same time as the festival, the harmony drum performance artist group and music event, "Earth Celebration", produced by Kodo, will take place in Ogi-Cho, also on Sado Island. If circumstances permit, you can see this great event as well......
