Ok...
Well... In Reason.. say about 149 bars into a track// well theres one pattern with a 4/4 kick on it... and some other snares.. hi hats etc..
I make a new pattern with only a kick... and I set left and right locater from 149 to 153
and copy pattern to track... now when i playback the first kick from 149.. just the first hit.. sounds louder than the rest.. and a kinda of flange sound... anyone know why ? or how ot get around it>/?

r u sure you don't steal a little time from the 153'th pattern ?
[look in zoom at the locators]

sometimes doubled sound sounds like flanged one.

Bilbo : Its a glitch in the program I think...
I tried to zoom in max.. but its bang on the beat
because i choose the "Bar" snap grid and copied to track...also sometimes while copying and pasting it pastes one bar ahead.. anyone else every experience that ?

Blobb : about automating the volumes all of the kick is the same just that one note of the first bar... is louder... the way around it was to copy it some bars ahead and then move it...

Twisted Mind : heh if I delete the kick then there will be a gap of one kick...

well writing in automations with the little pen is boring work... just play with the mouse (hmm)

And i never realy experienced what u are saying here with the volume prob with automation but there are loads of bugs in my version... little buggie buggies... nothing bad thou, only disturbing ;)

check if the first cick doesnt have a delay on it?
the overlaping of the same sample usually comes out like a flange...(its actually more of a harmonized sound)...

this is a bug in Reason..
it happens only in specific cases (i don't know when exactly)

if it is supposed to happen and you don't push the play before making the wav file, it will be heard in the wav file... if you do push the play button before the wav making, the specific kick plays louder and then it never does again, until you reopen the file, and it isn't heard in the wav file..

if this bug occurs there's no way to fix it after a save(i mean I didn't find one) but you can avoid it from by trying not to play a lot with automations in the beggining of the track... it seems to have a small buffer problem when automating from the beggining..

(this opinion is based only on my experience and a little debugging... i am not 100% sure)
