Looks like a really cool synth
Really delighted I am with the resurrection of analogue synthesizers.
Now hopefully we'll get some affordable analogue polyphonic synths in the near future. |

tbh all the modern cheap mono sound a bit like toys in term of quality or it s maybe just my taste...
check soemthing like this, http://cwejman.net/cwejmachine.mp3
i m not there to ask myself if it sound good or bad , it just deliver the sound so i can just listen and enjoy... out of this i would get real satisfaction |

last I saw they were selling sh-101s on ebay for around £350 so I wouldn't see many people buying these if they are around the price of £200 - £300 |

yeah and to me it don t sound warm, more on the sterile side..the kind of sound i was really not a fan as it s clean.. ..but in fact this caracter is great for lot of type of sound, diveristy is needed , and the synth is very flexible ,signal path is high quality and clean. it have very fast envelop/amp but yes so expensive |

love the sound too but problem i see now with the 101 is that they are too limited for making complex modern sound..so you will stilll use a lot your plugins or your virus and other va
sacrificing a bit the "quality" with maybe something like a future retro xs, could result in more improved sound in the end on your tune as it s more flexible..so you can replace your va on a lot more sounds (hopefully lol)
just speculation but right now if i had the money ,yeah i would look for something flexible to use less my plugins even if it dont sound as good as a 101 but still piss on every va for some types of sounds .. problem with the XS i m not 100% convinced by it s sounds .. it sound like what a perfect va would sound to me with no aliasing or artifacts , that already a great thing .. have to try one in real to get a idea why so much ppl love it.
i m relistening the demo right now and now i find some sound really really good..but i lust less and less the oldschool and vintage synths these days.. fuck i start to enjoy more cold and sterile sounds ,i m getting deaf
