its a kbbb i wouldnt use 8 voices, try just 1 voice, you will need to eq it to get the sound your after. why dont you post your closest effort so we canj hear it. someone may be able to help you out. |

you did a deep sh!t dude.... you´re the next naggin 2 post guy asking how to make a STANDARD(!!!!) bass.
it just hellsucks man, on this very first page there are at least three threads showing how to achieve EXACTLY (!!!) this kinda bass. besides theres nothing special about this bass, "ANY VST" will have a pretty similiar preset, sylenths moog preset beeing very close!
soooo, you were lazy and did nothing  not had a listen to your synths presets and had no look or read on this first page if there might be something useful solving your issue...

try playing with the envelope and make sure its on the right note, i think the bass is F and your kick dosnt sound right. for your bassline to sound like the one youv posted you will need to get the same or similer kick too and sidechain it to the bass and tweek it to get the right m=amount of pump. |

Well a good bass will be light only with a good kick too. If these 2 parts dont fits good together you cannot have the result that you want.
For the bass try to tweak the envelopes right as you want and make a nice rythm with the velocities of each note. i hope you have a pair of good monitors to work on eq. first of all cut the unwanted freqs (im sure in the middle you will find many  ) and ofcourse good eq on kick too.
Im sure that with little more practice you can hit the result that you want. Really the egorythmia sample isnt something special, is a well made kick & bass with his taste as always ''punchy''.
A good eq, compressor and maybe a touch of distortion is the key.
I'm fan of his basses i have too say, i know isnt something special and smells plastic but i like the dynamic that they have, punchy and killer in your face. ...into the wild.... |

should i try use bassizm to make the kick?
i got yamaha hs80...
havnt put anything eQ or compressor on the kick and the bass..

use what ever you like to make the kick, it dosnt matter as long as it sounds like the kick you need for your track.

Yeah mate. Whatever works for you to make your kicks. You can make good kicks with many ways.
Personally i make my kicks with massive and layerd them after with a small hat most of the times.
BazzISM its good too.

have you read the posts that Mandari and sunrise travellers and myself have just posted here in answer to your question??? the moog bass preset is very close, if you dont know what a compressor does, i wouldnt just put one on with any old preset, because that wont sound good. make a kick with bazzisum. and say thank you when people help you out too |

yeah give it a go, use that moog bass preset and play with the envelope, i would change it to 1 voice if it was me and make a similer kick, i had another go earlier as i was board and got very close. good luck |

any vst plugins u also think they have on that bass?
