I would really ditch the TS-404. sure, it's got cool sounds, but it's too complicated and not accurate enough. plus the recording mode in FL isn't too accurate either... |

well, there's an wasier way of automations other than playing with the record button.
right click a button you want to automate in the ts. go to edit events.
than, simly draw as many bars as you wish on that instrument.
this option is applicable to any organic FL instruments and synths (it won't work on imported and external VST's though).
there. that's all you need now |

i have that problem too if like a pattern with 404 is 1bar and i edit the events for 4 bars. i want that the pattern will play 4 times, each with different cut-off for example. |

well, clone the TS to as many time you want the part to be played and simply alter the automations per pattern. |

I got the solution to your problem boys......
ok read carefully.....I'm bad at explaining but I'lltry my best... Make a blank pattern.....lets say pattern number 5 is blank.....now in the playlist put a square only on the first bar of the blank pattern...which in this case is patternt number 5..now when you want to record long tweaks in the 404 then what you have to do is to record ove rthis pattern. you do that by selecting the blank pattern and then start recording.....make sure you've selected the blank pattern (pattern 5)only then will it record for more than one bar....try it ....later then....... |
