hi,
i've been looking at recent partyes line-ups and posts on the "equipment and music production" forum and there seems to a big load of new portuguese psytrance producers...
any one wanna comment on the subject? or am i just having "those" nasty lsd flashbacks again ?

Defenetly......
Now everytime that i see a party flyer,there are alway´s 2 or 3 "live act´s" from unkown (pseudo)"producers". I am also one of thoose 
They are well come if they have quality...but do they???
we all know with the craked software´s everyone can make music , what ever the style....
But do theses new lives have quality....???
I don+t think so.....Portugal have GOOD producers, but the REAL ONES THAT ARE GOOD....everyone one know´s who they are.

i dont agree aswell i think thats is good news from portugal
if u want well knowd artists so u will have comercial artists and i dont think that is good think for psy ...
i`m bring`ing back a small party promoter org MoKa-porductions (Mysztikal Ohm Kult Art prod)
and the objective is to bring out thouse quality artist`s that are ``hide`` portuguese and non portuguese ...allways with FREE party spirit ...
Big BoOm for thouse new comer`s and recent portuguese act`s TRYAMBAKA iS a big exemple of that Quality ....

Ok .......maybe i was to much extreme.
there must(are) be some good new live act´s!!
but there are so many that probleby half of them don´t have the same quality(or level) of the confirmed names.
but yes , i agree with biovrelle, it´s good to have some refreshing Act´s....
has i said they are wellcome.............if they have quality.....
clear??!!!!

sy000321, yes, its been a somekind of boom in this matter! maybe they have been waiting till the time (now) to show up! some earlyer than they should, but that its what gonna make them better! by getting trust on their work and most important, getting feedback!

does statistic exist in this point of view??
if the (pseudo) artists, as you call, like their music, its because somehow they make some sense(the music)... if they do make music with pirated soft its their problem and anyone should not make subject about that... i can ensure you that its the best way to learn without spending money and by conscious one should not make money using warez soft! learning shouldn't be that expensive! with time, quality grows! check mettalica's garage days... loooool, so, they are Nº1! and they show their garage days, and more... 
And if you dont like, get that as an experience, good or bad! one thing that makes us existing ppl its tha fact that we do experiment alot , and so do the (pseudo) artists! ive seen very bad shapes (in my opinion) from the foreigner artists who were invited to perform here ("probably" very well payed), and also have seen very sunshine groovy good stuff from our backyard, our (pseudo) artists...
and come on (pseudo)artists MADE IN Portugal, SHOW UP and PARTY!
no rules, just great partys!!
ps.Methodic Marble, by what i understand, its clear to me you point of view.. but have to be carefull with the words used, because they make some sense in some way, and can hurt by other way (of point of view) |

1º Da_Lord : craked Software RULEEZZZZ  what would be off us without it....
of course when is time to realse some stuff , is better you got the original version...but till then let´s play.............ehheheh
2ºmy word´s were a little hard(i agree, to much  ) but when a some one start´s to play live, of course his 1º live souldn´t be the great´s.....it start´s from there...(evolution)so.......let them all come......
and only the "strongers" will survive....

what is crap music? if i think all your music crap (the artists that post, wich is not true)whos gonna tell me whats crap or not who decides that by the way is´n this a matter of taste? if i dont like trance all of this was crapp!!!????
if you are tlak about skill´s and equipment this is a diferent thing but cracked software rulles no doubt about it and also pseudo "artists" "superstars" wannabe´s they organise a party charge a ticket to you assist to a secion of cracked software plaing in a computer and they call that a live and to some kids plaing their mp3 of soulseek trade that they call dj´s if you are reffering to this boom of portuguese psyhappening yes is true you can just see the parties promoted here
