hi guys, here is another atempt at trying my hardest to learn to make proggresive psytrance, im finding it quite hard to learn ha ha.
any advice or tips would be great.
p.s i made this in head phones and i havnt listend on moniters yet so the mix will probably be horrible

Hey Glitchin
Had a listen to your work.
The intro sound of the insects sounds realy nice, but I find there a lack of some teasing to the kick and bass part. So in conjunction with the bug noise ill play around with the kick and bass before the mais section.
After the 1st k/b section some evolution would be nice, like some question and answer parts followed be some pads and/or atmospheres. Fill the sound spectrum um, from low to high.
Hope this gives you some ideas.

^ make some bass bounce changes,, try adding more 1 shot hits with delays or something to progress the track, otherwise decent base to complete track on, ,, keep at it

thanks for the feedback guys, thats great advice. when my girlfriend leaves to go to work in 15 minutes, il go and crack up the wharfedales and see what i can do with it. thanks again guys

glitchin - speakin of glitchin i think this song could benefit alot from some kick fills or glitchy kick bits in the middle section, nice way to keep things a bit more mixed up. Great sounds! what DAW you use?

thanks equilizyme il look in to in, i love sampleing the loop then cutting it up to make glitchy bits, since the last one iv posted iv actualy mixed it down abit better and the whole mix is clearer and has more room. im useing fl studio

I really dig the kick/bass drive, deep and proggy. I also like how the synths sound. It's a solid track however, in my opinion, I think it could use some more story telling and some bass variations could add some groove to the track. keep it up man! peace

thanks llama.exodus iv done a few bit to the track this morning and have got a few ideas going now. im not going to repost this track till i think its finished. im now working on a full on track as a collab with someone else.

It sound good, but it's too monotonic. you need some variations. try playing around with the elemnts you already got, and add some new stuff to make it bigger.
I'd help you if you're willing to export all channels to separate loops and send them over
