hey I have not a big clue or expirience in multiband compression ,glad I get to know more and more to understand the compressors but I think there is someting proper in the waves bundle dedicated to multiband compression.Dunno the name now since I rarely use waves but it has 5 eq channels to compress i think..just have a look on their side.           https://soundcloud.com/shivagarden

I understand each band should have different attack / decay settings because of how dyanamics affect each one but really don't know what's the theory behind it...

Good question, hope someone helps.

Thanks.. actually Im using the ones in the wave bundle. linmb and I think the L2 if I remeber correctly is a multiband compressor too. And theres a post that talks about master chains, but the only 2 multib.comp. mention are does in the wave bundle. or the Izotope Ozone. so is that all??. there are not other good multiband compressors on the market???. My question is becouse Im having trouble with the limb. is makig this cracking sound after I bounce my song. Like I hear my song before bouncing it. And its sounds good. no craking sound. And nothing is hittin red lights. But when when I bounce and I hear the result, the noise appear. I thought it was my limiter but now Im pretty sure is the multiband comp.. any advice?""

I like to use Waves C4 a good multiband compressor. I use C4 with an other plugins like a T-racks and PSP Vintage Warmer.
