Every summer, for the past 5 years, Brixton sees an annual Cannabis March & Festival, celebrated in over 180 cities worldwide. In recent years the festival has seen over 30,000 people showing their support for the relaxation of the laws on cannabis.
A huge carnival style march opens the festival, along with samba beats, and takes the crowds from Kennington Park to the festival grounds of Brockwell Park.
Featuring a main stage, there are also dance marquees featuring hip hop and techno beats and live sounds from various artists.
As well as live music, the festival brings Hemp Expo, a medical cannabis marquee, a speakers area, hemp food, and more
