Hey guys.
For a long time i have been annoyed at this thing in zebra and wonder if you have any solution.
Even if its in init mode.
And i put a oscillator and play, every note is slightly different. It sounds like it enter a different place in the stereo field, its just a small difference but it really bugs me out and make it kind of unreliable.
Got any idea on what to do about this?.

If Makus answer is not enough, try to reinstall it or check it you're not sending it to a bus or anything with more processing going on. |

Yea man, check if you ain't using it in demo mode (you can see written in upper line demo mode only or something like that)
It happened to me when, well you know,we all say we pay back when we will have the money and all that.Long story short, the crack was shitty and didn't worked as well as I hoped,so in demo mode that's the way Zebra works, each note is out of pitch. From all the things I lost, that sandwitch cost me most :)

In the 'Global' panel on the lower bar (beneath the main programming window) there is a setting called 'Voice Drift'. Set this to 'off' rather than the default value of 'on'.
This is how the manual describes the parameter:
'When set to On, each new note is slightly detuned, emulating the imprecise pitch of
classic analogue oscillators. Switch this off for absolute precision.' |

Even on osc retrigger it happends.
probably is some wierd phasing issue.

When you say osc retrigger, do you mean that you've set the voice mode (in the Global pane) to 'Retrigger', or that you've activated the 'Reset' switch on the oscillator module itself? Because it is the Reset switch (the triangle on its side next to the left of the wave knob) that ensures that each note begins from the same phase.
It definitely sounds as though your reset switch is off - the init preset has the reset switch OFF by default, so you need to make sure to turn it on to ensure that each note (esp with detuned stacked oscillators) sounds the same. |
