I love the fatness of ES1 for bass but I always get this click noise when I finally end-up in a good meat of it.
when I try to get rit of these GRAINY CLICKS I end up change my bass instrument because when i fix it the good meat gone and the fart coming back
Any help will be appreciated, thanks

I also had that issue. Try change attack and release of the amplifier and filter envelope

As PsyGalaXy said. Its all about the attack and release settings.
Also note that if you set the analog to 0% the waveform of the osc starts the same time at each note on. This sounds more modern but introduces even more click in the attack however the amount of click is exactly the same of each note unlike if analog is other than 0.
The really annoying thing is that this click is not comming from the osc so the lowpass filter has no effect on the click.
I find that i can use this click to my advantage actually. Recently i just applied a lowpass filter as an insert on the ES1 channel to dampen the click but still keep it notisable. This makes the bass sound more snappy. |

the click comes from the envelopes. they are VERY sensitive unlike most vstis, so where on other vsti an attack opened a few nothces up would already be very open, on the es1 it has a big resolution, so find the sweet spot in the envelopes and you should be fine.
also avs's tips are great, thanks dude, i also noticed the analog's effect but couldn't quite put into words what it does

btw the exs 24 use the same fitler and env if i m right, so you can sample esm or es1 init patch and you can use it in cubase ...there is a sweet spot in the amp envelop where it sound very good, for 1/16 bassline (but sample lot of notes cause i remember from a test the resampling algo is bad and add aliasing ) |
