For lots of DJs and producers in our scene, Anne Clark is unlikely to have gone unnoticed so far. With her hits "Sleeper in Metropolis" from 1983 and "Our Darkness" from 1984 she could be described as one of the founders of Electronic Dance Music.
To coincide with the start of her German tour we've received brand new material from the legendary English artist for you to remix. Anne Clark and netMusicZone Records have given us individual tracks from the current Floating Stone hit "Dittany" and the vocal track to "Closed Circuits" as wav files.
The files can be downloaded from us and then rehashed to your heart's content. As far as the style is concerned there are no rules, it can be full-on psychedelic madness or an acoustic bongo jam, the choice is yours.
The jury will be made up of Anne Clark, the mushroom readers ? and Simon Cowell. No, that last one's a lie. The mushroom team will assist with judging your submissions and choosing the best remixes from amongst them.

Now here is a half-baked contest idea for the psytrance world. Won't this just result in a whole ton of amateur tunes filled with vocals?

well, did you not notice that the style can be anything?
if you want to put cheesy vocals in your psy tracks, no one is gonna stop you, i say just put them where they fit...
though i can agree that cheesy stadium trance vocals dont fit in psychedelic forest music, if they are not twisted, though tracks like "Atomic Pulse - Robotnico" which might be called "clubpsy"
and then we have "forestpsy" and "melodicpsy" and much more of course... just simplyfying things..
yeah yeah yeah....
anyway good luck to you who is going to create something for the contest, and remember it dosent have to be psy.... maybe make some stadium trance instead..

oh dear .... some never stop to complain ... now it's the amateurs some are afraid of ... just the profs are allowed to try or what? ... no younger rising artists are allowed to touch an idol goodie? .. ok i will not take part in such a discussion again ....
