Mobilee boss Anja Schneider takes time out from a brutal DJ schedule to release a debut album.

Variously spotted in Japan, South America and the US recently, Anja Schneider has finally found the time to put together a debut album. Co-produced with Paul Brtschitsch, with whom she collaborated on the single 'Loop de Mer'/'Belize', Beyond the Valley is billed as inky, supple cuts with a dark pastoral feel.

Anja explains the meaning of the album’s title: "It's the place where your parents told you not to go play as a child. Why? Because anything could happen. It's dangerous and anarchic. All the creatures that have been chased out of the village have gone there to hide." Sounds a bit like clubland then.

Watch out for also Anja and Mobilee and the WMC this month. Details here.

hello mr.knowledge:so now i cant dislike anja schneider?....did you notice that people have different tastes?and mines for shure dont feed hypes or commercial minimal...as you seem to feed everytime i read something by you here.........you know ,after producing techno, house, ambient and trance since 1990.....i really find it uninventive and BORING.....oh in my floor you said?man in my floor just some gangbangs happen always with a good soundtrack(hook up is a great example, although the dentex is not)....................think by your own head(your reviews are just similar and boring as the tastes of neo minimal people)
mobilee is also not my cup of tea with just a few releases that i can listen to more than 2 times i am more in a tony carreira style(specially when remixed by swatsquad or raudive or sonodab)

man, u just gave me reason...it's a bit exagerated when you decide that it's no good for dancefloor, when there are million other opinions out there, and ways of feeling music for dancing...
and by the way u can call me rui...that's my name corta mocas
