My salamanders freak out to psy. They either really love it, or really hate it. I can't tell.

once we were setting up an outdoor party next to a cowfield. during the sound check all the cows stopped eating grass and gathered close nearby to listen to the boumm, boumm, boumm music. they were clearly attracted by these strange sounds, must be the higher frequencies we humans don't hear. they just wouldn't continue what they usually do. but in the end there was no party for the cows, the farmer took them back into the stall for the night.

Some sounds, mostly high ones, make my dog to go in front of the speaker and stare at it, twist its head and make sounds in this funny dog way: "Heyyy, whaat's thaat??". Especially the beginning of Sphongle's track "A New Way to Say 'hooray'" from album "Tales of the inexpressible" makes him to do so. I always get a good laugh from it and it works every single time. LOL!!

A picture of the Little ZoOm in 2003 in the beautiful swizz mountains, a super nice recollection hahaha, that was huge !

As you can see human presence didn't bother them, and the Music even made one of them quite hot hahaha, all the people around were shouting and claping their hand to encourage her hehehe..

They were also hanging around the camping, some of them even giving a look inside some tents haha..

That was great !

We had the same experience last summer during an outdoor party.
My dog love to come to party especialy outdoor and free parties. He sleeps with no problem close to the dance floor or dj decks.
He's a fan of big teknival because there are many other dogs. From the pure music standpoint, he has very special reaction when he ear the Grownly family track from GMS. He looks to appreciate it a lot. Maybe there are special ultra high sounds or FXs he ear in.
My cats doesn't look to have any reaction to trance music. But when there too many people at home for a small party, they really don't like.

My bird sings and whistles along to my music. He loves Sphongle ect. + He's got a thing for Aphex Twin, especially the "Come To Daddy" EP. hehe, he's so cool. He even bangs his head. And the cage is always open, so he's free as a .. umm, yeah, bird.

I miss him, he's back in Norway at a friends place. I'm in Copenhagen. He's old, and he will soon die =(

Nice pic!!!

now that you mention the little zoom and the invasion of the cows:
i was there as well and i remember stepping on cow dung during the whole night, because it was so dark. when the sun came up the next day, i noticed that the whole place was actually used as a cow field... thx god for shoes great party anyway!!!
