it appears not so...they didnt end up playing at the festival...didnt show up apparently 
but was still extremely good party with son kite, minilogue, freq, antix, protoculture, atomic pulse, atomic culture, fatali, deeper, sensient and the list goes on...should stop before i get too off topic....but again andromeda are f**king awesome...apparentl;y their live show is quite unique

Am I the only one who think their music is plain boring? Sorry just my taste i guess. I just don't hear anything amazing there. Same ol same psy progressive as so many make these days.
btw they split up so it's only one guy now. And the stage show was never that unique. Everybody can put on some straps and pretend playing via a body suit. 
Just not my cup of tea sorry.

I don't mean to say that Andromeda don't have a talent but to me (according to my ears) it's just as so much Fullon and psyprogressive is these days. Predictable. I am sure it's nice at a Festival but seriously how different is it from the many other semi fullon/psy-progressive artists out there? A fat bass and kik does not make it unique or special. I have heard some of the tracks and it has a very good production but IMO it lack personality and fail to stand out from the other psy-progressive artists who sadly start to sound the same ol same.
Don't flame me for having an opinion. I do not say Anders (the remaining guy) is a bad artist.

i dont know if you have heard all their tracks. Maybe you have.
I personally liked the 'temptations' album very much....I know what you mean when you say that many of the artists have a similar sound. However, i do not find that the case to be with andromeda......
Their are certain artists that have that "unique" style......That style that has that artists "signature" sound to them....
Andromeda for me has that "unique" sound.
If i could recommend some tracks for you to listen and if you have allready heard these tracks, then this is for anyone else who wants to check out some tunes from Andromeda.
'Temptations' album.....
'The Last Temptation' is a really nice track. Beautiful ethnic sounds, not extremely energetic, just has a really good sound to it.
'Out of the Limits' great track....more energetic. good samples. Great psychedelic sounds through out the track. For me in this track Andromeda brings out what they can do. Especially from about minute 3 on......when i hear this track, i feel like the track is about to rip my soul out....It just grabs down deep inside. !!!
'Imploded' gets right into it. Phat bassline, nice psychedelic sounds, great atmosphere.
'atmonizer'
Another groovy bassline with great atmosphere and wicked kicks. With that 'signature' psychedelicy sound andromeda has perfected. Haha, ok, i may be getting a lil carried away, but what can i say. I love their music.
This is for anyone who hasnt heard andromeda. I think it might not be a bad idea to check it out for yourself and form your own opinion, before you get turned off by what some people say before even hearing them.

Anders might not be a trailblazer of the highest order, but he does have a recognizable sound. I find he has some special tracks in his discography; tracks that capture an essence in a way that not so many artists do... what it comes down to is really fine morning music, and you don't have to think so much as feel it working... of course it all comes down to everyone's personal experience of music, and there is no law saying everyone must be attuned to the same frequencies. It has a good effect for me and I guess that's what counts in my universe
