But I'd like to point on something: to simplify the whole process of buying different tracks from different sources, I'd rather see a Paypal button with a drop down menu instead of copying-pasting and calculating at the end the total we should "donate".
It is so simple to make and a it's a simple html code to add on your web page next to the release.
I've personally discovered this nice free tool last week and it helped on my releases web pages a lot.
Check Paypal under "merchant tools" if you don't know what I mean.
If it was not your idea and you already know about this, I'm sorry and ignore me.
All the best for your sales |

Hey Gabriel, thanks for that. But I think you've missed something. These are NOT SALES and I'm not a "MERCHANT". These tracks are "gifts" when donating the suggested amount. It is NOT a online shop, so no need to compare what I'm doing to what you're doing. If your "online sales" work for you, great!. I can only handle so much so no need to make the "requesting of gift tracks" process any faster.
Thanks to those who have supported already! Getting ready to get those links out! Thanks!

Are you avoiding tax or why do you label a perfectly normal merchant transaction as "gift" and "donation"?
Sorry to sound so negative but with a fixed price for getting a file there is just about nothing donation-like there.
Or maybe I just do not get it.
I really like your "if you downloaded from elsewhere -> donations are nice" footer. Still remember how I always loved that on the CBL site. Every artist should do that.

I don't run a business. I am not a label. I create art and need support to continue in doing so. It's all very simple, really. One can choose to help support me through suggested donations and be rewarded with high-quality music or choose to not help support and not be rewarded.
I hope this helps clear up any confusion.

Indeed, support the artist. Nice to have access to high quality music, and support the artist directly.

Yeah, too bad most people don't contribute anything unless there is EXTRA incentive.
