Altar records presents its second compilation under the theme of the element: "WATER".

In the course of 2009 throughout 2010, Gabriel aka Dj Zen (Altar Records' producer) will be compiling - for your pleasure - a total of 5 high quality compact discs - high quality in terms of the excellent artists presented in the compilations, the fully recyclable product packaging and last but not least their collection value : the discs will be limited to an output of 500 in total.
Dj Zen wishes you all a warm welcome into the aquatic world of his new compilation, "Water", available on Altar Records.
Right after "Air", that brought you on a trip high up in the heavens, you will now be immersed in the source element of all life on Earth.
Expect streams of psychedelic emotions flowing from your ears all the way into your veins.
You will hear waterfalls, ocean sounds and rain and, of course, a lot of beats and melodies.
The artists have created - especially for you and exclusively for this cd - natural and digital liquid ambiances based on their own visions of this element and its growing rarity.

^^ Great news indeed, i shall wait for the release date,
Heard the samples and what i can say is.. that your tracklisting fits perfectly with the theme and choice of tracks are fantastic to add, just like "Air"
These are sounding even better then last one actually, maybe i am a fish afterall
Androcell track is really special here..wowowow great stuff tyler, you made a gem..those dreamy melodies..too good
Asura is sounding neat as well really makes an inroad for the journey coming up next, there is a sense of calmness with the music in this VA i feel, judging from the generous length samples..although i could just see a light at the end of tunnel with AES DANA - ASTROPILOT tracks.. too short samples to form an opinion. (but makes me wait for this VA even more now)
Chronos, Shakri (Yet again kick butt tracks from both) and a special mention for 'Man With No Name' track..just breathtaking composition, Zymosis an ultra psychedelic project..which i discovered this year has lived up to the expectations majestically over and over again..and to end the chapter 'RA' - his music on "Air" was surprisingly too good and he ends the proceedings in an epic psychedelic manner yet again.
A VA which will remove all boundaries i feel and most of the tracks are timeless...a beautiful void was generated while going through this VA which is ofcourse shortlived since these were samples... i leave the rest for your pleasure, this is sounding extremely psychedelic.
and i will say again Androcell track here will sink you into the water..breathtaking stuff. 
Oh shit..i generally write so comprehensively when i review a VA, but this time its a PReVIEW

Fantastic VA again. I can say even better. All that I can say just by samples. I'm afraid what will be after listening whole release. Asura have some great etno motive with flute. Relaxing and peaceful. Perfect.
Androcell have amazing parts with bells and fat bassline leads. Lovely! Chronos, after I heard this project on Soundmute recordings release I know it that would be not less good as on that EP. Really hypnotic moments. Great. Astropilot started as beatless which is absolutely awesome and beat who come after is even much better. Aes Dana, perfect vocal in track and way of filtering. I like long delay on vocal. Background is magicly mystic. Kanc Cover, outstanding rework! This guy is back old spirit in one of the most greatest composition in Trance! Excellent ambient flow version of legendary Man With No Name track. Shakri, cool old school lead theme. Cant wait to hear rest of it. Zymosis in remix version of DJ Zen, man that floating hypno theme just get me. Excellent downbeat 4x4 with lot of percusion and some buzzuki sound Great! RA, one of the most respectabile Goa trance project for me this time in ambient version and nothing less good as in Goa. This should be one fantastic track.
I cant wait to grab this baby. Will be one shining diamond I my ambient collection!!!

I notice one mistake in your premature review that you wrote. Actually this is not track from Man With no Name.
Track is w&p by Kanc Cover based on idea of Man With No Name track "Sugar Rush". I don't know why in topic headline is MWNN,
maybe cause of better promotion, but fact is that is produced by Kanc Cover as ambient rework of trance track.Rework means that there are no particular elements of original track,but they are still in connection.
however,great work altar records and nice to see such a great producers under one roof.

Besides the intention was not to put a technically correct review but just put my thoughts down, will leave the review for whoever concerned.
And thanks for establishing the "rework" definition as if..

Yeah Kanc did a 100% new ambient track without the use of any sample from the original track.Props to him actually!
We both got the "go" from Martin Freeland to call the track from its original name not only because it deserves it due to Kanc's huge work but because its also the same melodies especially at the end of the track! ...end that you'll hear once CD in your hands
