Dear Quasga,

I can't hide you that I have really liked the "Emotivision" and therefore I would definetely love to purchase the new album as well.

But i have a question, can i purchase it in any digital format? I have searched on iTunes but i couldn't find it.

I would appreciate if you could indicate me an online distributor.

I would like to thank you in advance

Regards
Tms

I'm pretty sure it's not available for purchase in digital format anywhere. There is more to this album than just the music.

Peace,

i understand you and agree to an extent what with the amazing artwork (only the artwork for spectral processor did not meet my extremely high standards)
whereas i have never bought an album in digital format (yet), i do not agree with the decision to not make it available
but i guess you know better           Load Universe into Cannon. Aim at Brain. Fire.

Quasga,

You should talk to Cameron at ambient.us, since he offers very high bit rate downloads plus 300 DPI artwork scans for an affordable cost.

Might be a good option for those who are interested in digital?

Well, I guess I should clarify first, that it' not my "decision", but Celestial Dragon's, as they paid for the exclusive license for the album. And I don't think I even made reference to a "decision" or "knowing better", I simply answered Dot Kite's question that it's not available for purchased download to my knowledge. I didn't say anything about purchase downloads never happening. Either way I can pass the word along to them and see what happens. I *think* saikosounds are working out their own purchase download system but it's too early to know for sure.

Evan, I will recommend them to ambient.us, thanks!

Further, I'm very curious, where did I go wrong with Spectral Processor? What exactly didn't meet your EHS?

tony4007, thanks!! Will keep doing it for sure.

whereas all the other images were highly imaginative, i found the one associated to spectral processor (while detailed) a bit generic "psychedelic"
it is not even the quality itself and i can see why some people might enjoy it a lot, but that type of artwork is not my cup of tea           Load Universe into Cannon. Aim at Brain. Fire.

Am enjoying this...
a big improvement on the first Androcell...theres more space in the tracks, more little sounds going on and the range of styles from upbeat to nicely chilled dub makes it a pleasure to listen to as an album...thanks Quasga

Got it yesterday, and am reallllly enjoying the album. I agree with the many comments that have noted the improvements over the first one. This time around, the tracks are much more dynamic, and have more sounds going on. Beautiful melodies are more abundant as well, and fit into the music very nicely. While I like the whole album, the last three tracks are my favorite-it makes a terrific listening experience when it just gets better and better. Oh yea, I really enjoy the tasteful vocal elements, they are integrated most expertly.

Regarding the art, I definitely understand what further is saying. With the exception of Blue Shroom Cowgirl,
the art accompanying Emotivision didn't grab me, for the very reason further mentioned-"a bit generic "psychedelic."" My thoughts this time around:

Process of Unfolding-at first glance, seemed a little boring because of the centering and symmetry. After looking at it more carefully while listening to the track, I ended up liking it because I strongly related to center of the image to the opening part of the track, and I liked how the plants in the corners point inwards and meet the plants pointing out from the center-when I first looked at it, I didn't pick up that they weren't all pointing in the same direction.

Neurosomatic Circuit-one of my favorites. The subtle floral motif over the faint brain is soooo nice. The slight asymmetry in the computer chip was very welcome. Plus, the quality of the background is top-notch.

Atmos-spheres-The composition really stands out from the other pieces. I'm glad that the centering and symmetry aren't here. Overall, it seems more graphic design oriented and not reliant on visual detail like many of the pieces.

Spectral Processor-While it does lack some of the imagination in the other works, it is high quality in general, and there's a funny visual effect that the curving multicolor lines create when they hit the four points, making them seem as though they are bending a little.

Natti Natti-my least favorite, it's the one that seems the most generic to me. However, the centered verticle segment has a skeletal aspect that's pretty groovy.

Efflorescence-The album's cover is another of my faves. The background leaf structure/fractal with the waterfalls is beautiful, the wave patterns are exquisite, and there's a narrative quality (like Blue Shroom Cowgirl) that really appeals to me. While it's generally centered and symmetrical, the composition is just awesome.

Gnome Dosed-A little goofy fun. The hat is what makes this one work for me. The patterns remind me a lot of the work of Fred Tomaselli, one of my all-time favorite visual artists.

Dub Crickets-Hands down my favorite piece. Although it's another centered and symmetrical work, I don't even care anymore, and the geometry is really nice. The coloration and imagery makes gives it a haunting beauty, the silvery/white parts of the crickets are a perfect touch. Very unique image.

faves: neurosomatic circuit, atmos-spheres, Effloresence, Dub Crickets

Overall, great visual and audio art.

I'm compelled to write here about my perception.
I would first like to say that as an artist I can truly appreciate music that is created, mixed and produced by the artist. There is a wholeness and completeness to the final outcome. Quasga your fist album and second here resonate with me on this. I listen on High End Audio equipment and must say your sound quality is excellent and most impressive.
I would like to take my hat off and bow. Efflorescence is an evolution of Emotivision. It's obvious an enormous amount of time, effort, detail, and resources went into this. I was really anticipating this release and bought it the day it was available at Saikosounds.
We all have our perceptions of the world around us. Over the past 11 months I have been on an extremely rapid advancement through consciousness. With this comes knowingness that provides direction. It's funny how things work and how some things reach you exactly when you need them. Androcell is like this for me. This music has been critical in my progression. It's a precious gift you present us with Quasga.
Efflorescence is to me much more refined and moves deeper into that place from which new perceptions are discovered. It brings awareness of self through evolutionary sonic terrain. It conveys Intelligence beyond our normal perception and invites you to explore and remember. I can only imagine what it must have been like years ago as the pioneers pushed across the United States through the frontier to discover. Efflorescence is a perfect companion to remember the realms of Higher Consciousness.
On a more grounded note it’s just really musical. I have been listening to it over and over again and it just keeps taking me there. Thanks for the artwork. It’s a touch seldom seen in the music realm and compliments the album in a very conscious way. It’s a furthering of the wholeness and completeness.
Namaste,

Dear Quasga,

I understand and respect the choise of the label to not distribute this album in a digital format.

Unfortunately, I will not have the chanse to listen to this album for the simple reason that i do not purchase anymore CDs...

In any case, I am really curious to listen after all the reviews...
