Hello all readers !

Today I just realised have been a member of this forum for a few month and never spoke about this... .. this.. MasterPiece !!

It is a Dj-Mix included in a 3 CD Box with a funny artwork (check out the Queen ) released in 1996 by Network/Six 6/Sony Music Operations (UK).
Other Mixes are HousOriented by Ralph Lawson & Derrick Carter..

Here Andrew's tracklist :

01 - Is - Lucy and the Mango Man
02 - Nangpa - Ijakk
03 - 11.59 - Freemen
04 - Skylab - Indigo (Sabres Remix)
05 - The Kromozones - Forever
06 - Jaziac Sunflowers - Magic Flute
07 - Wagon Christ - Floot
08 - Wiseguys - Nil by Mouth
09 - Attica Blues - Blue Print (Hawtin Remix)
10 - Aural Expansions - Freeform (Mix Master Morris Mix)
11 -Two Lone Swordsmen - Big Man On The Landing
12 - Two Lone Swordsmen - Smokebelch (for Ali)

--------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------

The Music is just amaaaazing ! In fact I have been listening to this Cd since my beginnings in Electronic Music Love Affair... Blessed is my gOod friend (father since 3 weeks !!) who had the genious idea to take it in hands while a sweet sunny day, back in my adolescence...
It's eclectic, strange, tribal, emotionnal, dark, light, and so on !!
My gOod friends, dear readers : the Kromozones' track is WONDERFUL !!! how else can I define it ?? also both "Two Lone Swordsmen" ones (Andrew is involved in the project) and .... pffff anyways, all of them have something special, even a wink to the Beastie Boys.... enough to make my tears fall

Final point, Ladies & Gentlemen : The Mix Technique.....

Honnestly, I have rarely seen such a technique in all the parties & festivals i had the chance to frequent and the chilled "mixed" comps that I have listened to .. The way Andrew links the tracks together is just impressive..

HUGE recommendation !!
Cheers Readers !

Andrew Weatherall: need to say more? Sabres of Paradise, Two Lone Swordsmen, Meek, Planet 4 Folk Quartet, Rude Solo as a producer and, of course his dj sets, from electro to electronica, techno, house, weird stuff to ambient. He produced band such as Primal Scream (Screamadelica!!), New Order, Happy Monday and James.

A prolific genius!!!           ::Memento:Audere:Semper::
