hmm, i dont think i have compressor on master, just "Fruity Multiband Compressor" on bass and maybe some synth. whats exactly wrong?

Im using FL Studio (http://flstudio.image-line.com/), but many people say cubase is better..
Synths - for bass i use mostly http://wwaym.com/nwbass2.html, for ..synths:D i use http://www.iloyd.com/ilosynth/index.asp almost only, because i still can learn something new with it and its nice for cpu:) could you recommend some (free) synths?:) |

Change the kick in this one - it's very hollow and doesn't run with the bass. You can automate some fx on the noise lead, so it doesn't sound always the same. EQ the second noise lead a little better. EQ your hihats alot better, they're clipping and eating alot of the sound - try lowering their volume and addin a slight reverb.
Overall it feels like all your sounds are overcompressed. Try making every sound not jump over -12db on the mixer - you'll have to crank up the volume on your speakers some, but that way you'll hear things better. And don't put no compressors on the master channel, you can just throw a limiter in there @ -0.1/2db if you like.
Also compose longer and more playful melodies, most of the time the synths play arps.

I didnt work too much on it though, because of high cpu usage.. And laziness..
Kick - ive tried to find some better, but i know this still isnt perfect. I changed leads a lot, maybe its better now, i dont know. Hihats - i didnt really understand how to EQ them, so i cut something from each side .. is it better?
I still dont understand whats wrong about compressors, i didnt even use any in this track So i just changed the limiter. Can it be this way, or is it still overcompressed?
