Hello all,
Been working on my solo project (which I still don't have a name for) for a while now. Thought I would put up a sample of my last track to let you all know what kinda feel you can expect from this project in the upcoming months. Little bit of a sneak preview ...
PS: Getting a pair of monitors soon, that should up the production quality a bit.
Let me know what you all think - feedback/criticism welcome.

You know i Love your stuff man!! Its coming along really well.  and you keep getting better!! Awesome!! 
I don't know what to say about quality and all, you know my lack of knowledge in that department. but let me try....
The Bassline...... is Kick Ass!! (the one that starts at 2.35, but the other one is good as well!) but the kick is hiding a little again. Its not bashing me head enough . Maybe its these shitty headphones at work. i don't know
Percs fit well but maybe slightly louder? its got a cool rhythm to it.
Overall, Some really good sounds you have in there buddy. I love your work on the leads. it starts nicely and then it gets all mental! hehehe... Nice ONe!
What happened to the voice samples? the woman and that indian fellow(!) Put him in there man!!
I like the pads but its like a metal factory in there. i don't know the right word..industrial? Maybe its your choice but i think the airy, wind kinda pads would be better. You know like in the movies, with the trees breathing with the wind and the Wolf howling in the background!! I like those....hehehe... Hope you can understand me, if not i'll explain when i see you next. its easier! but you know best boss, and its your track, Your Baby!
Keep 'em coming my friend!! and lemme know when its complete. Very anxious to hear the full version!!

Yo Benny... After Secretmongoose, this is the 1st time I have heard from you .. SO now I know what u had been doing .. 
The demo is awesome .. Very evil .. Keep it dark.. Waiting to hear some more and full versions from ya ...

i hv the exactly same equip. as you....
the effect r amazing
lovely synths
try n use compressors on the basslines
very clean production !
those samples are brilliant ! they suite the track
all in all very clever production

Bharat - The one with the Indian self-help guru vocal is another track I'm sure you'd like that one.
NikC - yep, all on headphones - so im still running around in the dark. Hope to make use of some monitors soon ;-) Can't wait to hear some of your new music, am really liking your style.
Shroomz - lots more coming out real soon. Some nice suprises in the next couple months ;-)
Dudi - Did compress that bassline actually, my notes were'nt small enough though. Thanks for the compliments ! Unfortunately those vocal samples were used by Simon Posford in both Hallucinogen - LSD and another Shpongle track. Only found this out after I made the track though, and can't be bothered to change it

Yeah...nice 1 dude....your style is definately coming along nicely >> overall flow works nicely and your quality esp in the bass dept has improved beeeegtime! cant wait to hear what develops when u got new speakers... ; ) |
