drunk rowdy punjabi (shimone for israelis) boys pinching chix bottoms at goa parties .. always always .. new year / x mas time  .. on the other hand , its not alcohol thats to blame .. its the way `certain` ppl react after .. iv seen lsd , e , coke etc do way worse shit to ppl in their lives ,, with a drink to many , u may embarass urself and wake up with a biig headache .. too much drugs .. and u fuck ur whole life up ..

besides , from what iv seen .. ppl in this scene , the smart ones anyway . moving from taking lsd every weekend and living a party to party bom shiva shankar existance .. to settling down in life (kinda) and enjoying your more (yes.. at psy events) seems the way .. just my opinion

there are people on lsd or wehatever less connected to the music....i know some people that only go to psy parties because they can enjoy lsd there....but i have never heard about anyone that goes to psyparties just in order to get drunk.....getting drunk is possible anywhere, openly enjoying illegal drugs NOT.
edit: now thats one weird post. maybe because i'm so damn drunk right now.
edit2: the fact that i'm not using any smileys in this post doesnt mean i'm attacking you somewhat or that i'm not in a good mood. it's just that emoticons = commercialism.

right... to say that there's been a slight misinterpretation on your part would be putting it mildly.. firstly.. i have nothing against drinking or alcohol.. on the contrary, i enjoy many different kinds of liquors and am something of a connoisseur myself. The "problem" then, is not with drinking itself, but with guys being drunk or reacting badly to any other substance and ruining everyone else's trip, hence the name "drunk guy syndrome" and NOT "DRINK SYNDROME"... hope that clarifies things a bit...
and... does being "non commercial" mean you have to publicise and justify it?

Drink alot at the party is best think better than only lsd.but sometimes you drink too much and after,dont remember half of the party its happen too me last party

personally; i feel excess of any drug or alcohol can be slightly ugly, but will almost always exist at any party.
You get the people that are all tripped out on LSD, with their hysterical look, gritting down on their teeth and stumbling all around the party that looks pretty silly.
Or the chicks and dudes that are all rolled out suckin on their own lips making distorted faces, jajaja that maybe the silliest looking face.
Then you get the drunken stumblers at the party. The one's that can barely dance because they are so plastered or they want to communicate something to you while you are stompin and dancin and nothing coherent is coming out of their mouths. This is pretty annoying.
I was at Universo Paralello last week; (btw an incredible event, location, people and vibes) and their was this one dude, (extremely drunk) who got on the stage with the artist dj. He wanted to invite him his beer and the dj declined. He insisted and insisted and started to draw more attention on himself then what was necesarry. To say the least, he embarassed himself and the security finally got him off the stage.
IMO the more annoying drug consumers are the drunkards. At least FOR THE MOST PART the tripped out and rolled people are just lookin and appearing to be silly, but most of the time are not drawing as much attention upon themselves and usually hardly ever starting arguments as the some of the drunkards.
When you drink, it gives you courage. Then once you get that courage and you continue to drink some pretty silly things can happen.
Dont get me wrong. I love having my beers in the afternoon, but hardly ever do i get wasted at an event.

since i rarely use chemical rdugs any more,i love drinking in the parties..ehmm well ,it also depends on the general mood,but 3-4 drinks can do the work just fine (ok maybe 6-7)
in the last party i was ,i drunk a whole ursus bottle and got totally wasted,and i was anoe step before making a terrible mistake ...fortunately my friend grabbed me and we left,iif he was 3 more minutes late i would had regreted the very next day
(i wont even mention the hungfuckinover  )

At festivals and free parties I dont often see too many people drinking and not a lot of people are visibly on drugs to the point of distraction.
My only quarrel is with the club scene. I used to go to clubs in london 2-3 times a month and had some great times with some great people, but these days when I go to london to party it seems there's lots of people with huge pupils, a beer in one hand and a bottle of poppers in the other (and that shit stinks) barely standing, shirts off, beer guts at the ready wiping sweat and stuff all over whoever is in close proximity, while whistling soooo loud it distracts from the music.
I guess what Im saying is drugs or no drugs, some people are just jerks.
I remember in my hard house days I was exclusively beer and cigarettes. I never acted in this way and the alcohol heightened my emotional sensitivity to the melodies (very much like those old hair metal tunes in that sense) and I was still all in the music. Plus the vibe was great.
On a sidenote what I like about mdma/lsd etc (for myself anyway) is you have a dose and then when you need a drink you have some water/juice. When someones on the beers they usually just keep on drinking alcohol just because that's what they are drinking.
It's all about individual responsibility.
It's reefers all the way anyhow. They chill you out and you can pass them |
